6 PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROVISION OF STUDY PROGRAMMES

Article 89

Sponsors and Co-Sponsors

(1) Each study programme implemented at GMBS has a designated person, who has the relevant competences and bears the main responsibility for the implementation, development and quality assurance of the Study Programme, or an otherwise defined integrated part of the Study Programme, i.e., a main person responsible for the Study Programme (hereafter referred to as "Sponsor") and other persons providing subjects and co-responsible for the implementation, development and quality assurance of the Study Programme, or an otherwise defined integrated part of the Study Programme, i.e., the persons responsible for the Study Programme (hereinafter referred to as "Co-Sponsors").

(2) The Rector appoints the Sponsor and Co-Sponsors for the Study Programme before the start of the preparation of the Study Programme.

(3) Any change in the Sponsor or Co-Sponsor of an accredited Study Programme shall be approved by the GMBS Accreditation Council upon the proposal of the Rector.

(4) The Rector shall dismiss a Sponsor or Co-Sponsor, if he/she has ceased to meet the qualification prerequisites.

(5) All Sponsors and Co-Sponsors of study programmes of the same discipline of study are members of the Curriculum Council.

(6) The Chairman of the Curriculum Council shall be one of the Sponsors, who shall be elected from among themselves by all the Sponsors of the respective study programmes by an absolute majority of votes.

(7) Provisions 76 to 83, as well as other parts of this Internal Regulation, shall govern the activities of the Curriculum Council.
