GMBS Organisational Regulations
Article 1
General Provisions
Pursuant to the GMBS Statutes, the GMBS Organisational Regulations (hereafter referred to as the "Organisational Regulations") regulate the structure, management, internal relations, and activities of the higher education institution.
Article 2
Organisational Structure of the GMBS
1. The GMBS is divided into the following organisational components:
(a) Rector
(b) Vice-Rector for Education, Science and Research
(c) Vice-Rector for Accreditation, Quality and Development
(d) Managing Director
(e) Departments
(f) Pedagogical, research, consulting and information workplaces
2. The GMBS has one department:
(a) Faculty of Business Administration
3. The detailed organisational structure is shown in Annex 1, Organisational Structure of the GMBS.
Article 3
Management of the GMBS
1. The management of the GMBS is carried out by its bodies.
2. The bodies of the GMBS are:
(a) Managing bodies:
(1) Board of Directors
(2) Chairperson of the Board of Directors
(b) Academic self-government bodies:
(1) Academic Senate
(2) Rector, Vice-Rectors
(3) Scientific Council
(4) Disciplinary Committee for Students.
3. In their activities, the GMBS bodies shall be guided by the law, generally binding legislation, instructions, requirements and directives of the MFHEA, the GMBS Statutes, and other internal regulations of the GMBS.
4. The Board of Directors is the supreme governing and decision-making body of the GMBS. The competence of the Board of Directors is defined by the GMBS Statutes.
5. The chairman of the Board of Directors is a statutory body of the GMBS.
6. The competence of the academic self-government bodies is determined by the Statute, the Rules of Procedure and other internal regulations of the GMBS.
7. The Managing Director is a senior member of staff of the GMBS responsible for the economic and administrative running of the higher education institution and acting on its behalf to the extent determined by the statutory body of the GMBS.
Article 4
Departments
1. Departments are the scientific-pedagogical units that participate in the performance of the main tasks of the GMBS in a defined field of knowledge or field of study.
2. Departments mainly carry out the educational, scientific research and other creative activities. The head of a department, who is appointed and dismissed by the Rector, is responsible for the activities of the department.
Article 5
Pedagogical, Research, Consulting and Information Workplaces
1. The GMBS may establish pedagogical, research, consulting and information workplaces to carry out specific tasks.
2. With the approval of the Board of Directors of the higher education institution, the GMBS may establish pedagogical offices outside its headquarters, including abroad, to provide information and consultation to students. These workplaces may only undertake higher education if the capacity of the workplace to undertake higher education has been assessed by the MFHEA and the competent authorities of the country concerned.
